Homecoming 2019

St. Thomas had its 81st Homecoming on September 22nd celebrating its 175th year since its founding in 1844. The Holy Eucharist Service was conducted by the Reverend Cathy Montgomery, guest priest. Following the service, those in attendance enjoyed a covered dish lunch along with their homecoming fellowship. #blessed

The Right Rev. Mark Bourlakas, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Southwestern Virginia was the visiting priest for the Holy Eucharist on December 8th, 2019, the Second Sunday of theAdvent Season.

Bishop Mark feeds our usual Sunday visitor “Shep” who comes for comfort food from our brunch after services.

Our Choir is small, but their voices are very melodious.

A young visitor at St. Thomas Episcopal Church this past Sunday, January 26th, 2020.  He is seen here with Grandma Mabel.

Our Young visitor quickly made a friend, Shep.  He was trying to give Shep a ham sandwich.
